On August 6, 2025, Uzhhorod hosted the official opening of Vector Space — a new project by the IT Cluster Transcarpathia that combines space for work, events, networking, and professional development.
Vector Space is a 386 m² facility in the very heart of the city, designed to meet the needs of IT professionals, entrepreneurs, teams, and educational initiatives.
The space features 46 workstations, a 50-seat conference hall, two meeting rooms, a separate meeting room, a lounge area, a kitchen, and most importantly — an atmosphere of support, collaboration, and growth.
The project was developed in response to the local community’s demand for a comfortable, flexible, and open environment — a place not only to work, but also to share experiences, launch new ideas, and grow together.
Vector Space was opened with the support of EPAM, the coworking space Tsekh44, and the internet provider UzhNet.
The official opening brought together representatives of IT companies, entrepreneurs, educators, partners, and friends of the Cluster.
Among the guests was the Head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, Myroslav Biletskyi. In his address, he emphasized the importance of having such spaces in the region:
Vector Space is a unique place for work, learning, and communication. It is an accessible space that opens new opportunities for the community. As the head of the region, I value the integration of a social component — veteran support. The Zakarpattia IT Cluster, together with partners, offers free training programs for veterans, both for those new to the field who wish to start a new career, and for those seeking to improve and upgrade their skills. This is a valuable and forward-looking initiative that ensures open access to knowledge, communication, and growth.
The event began with a moment of silence to honor the memory of all those who have lost their lives due to the war.
This was followed by the IT Cluster’s half-year report, presented by** Executive Director Myroslava Maidych**, which included:
- updated data on the region’s IT sector;
- events held with the Cluster’s participation;
- results of international cooperation;
- outcomes of the “Drones of Zakarpattia” project;
- launch of the IT.CT Connect loyalty program;
- and plans for the near future, including the region’s first AI conference and a comprehensive study of the local IT market.
The highlight of the day was a panel discussion in which speakers explored global IT trends, new markets for Ukrainian companies, barriers to scaling, wartime transformations, the role of communities, and opportunities for growth. Speakers:

The discussion was both practical and inspiring, with each speaker sharing cases, challenges, and their vision for the future of the industry.
As part of the opening, the Cluster welcomed its new residents — Incomm.Space and** Logist Office** — presenting them with symbolic statuettes as a sign of inclusion in the community.
The event concluded with informal networking and a guided tour of the new space.
